Your Application
Send us your application materials—feel free to include a few lines explaining why you're interested in Abacus Umantis. We'll usually get back to you within 14 days.
Getting to Know Each Other
An initial interview—usually online with HR. We'll introduce you to the role and the company, clarify mutual expectations and answer any questions, and discuss the next steps in the process.
Professional Discussion Within the Team
You'll meet your future manager and/or coworkers. We'll discuss your responsibilities and how we work—and see together if we're a good fit, both professionally and personally.
In-Depth Coverage – CEO Talk
For positions at the Head level and above, there is an interview with a member of the executive board. We also get to know each other from a strategic perspective.
HR Pitch & Proposal
Final offer discussion: Contract framework, terms, and any outstanding questions. You can take your time to decide if this is the right fit for you.
And very importantly: All job openings listed on our website are current. Those who apply early have an advantage.

Can I work in a hybrid or remote setting?
Hybrid or remote work is possible for many roles—in Switzerland, Germany, or Austria. We’ll discuss the specifics (e.g., percentage of time working from home, days spent in the office) together during the application process.
How soon will I hear back about my application?
We aim to respond within 14 days. If it takes a little longer, we'll reach out to you proactively—or you can always check in with our HR team.
Are the job postings really up to date?
Yes. The job postings on our website are always up to date. As soon as a position is filled, we take it down.
What language do we use in our daily lives?
In our day-to-day work, we mainly use German, though we also use English in some teams and projects. We’ll discuss the specifics of your work environment with you during our interview.
I don't match the profile 100%—should I apply anyway?
